Kim is so sweet and omg the food was so good, made me wanna cuss! Lol I had turkey wings, mac n cheese and potato salad w/ cornbread. She even gave me a sample of the oxtails! Mannnnnnnnnnnn ..... #Tender! You can drink the gravy. The turkey wing is so tender. The broth is sooooo good! Mac n cheese (Yep) Potato salad (Yep) You want some good soulfood come here!!!!

Listen, I’m picky about my soul food, but this place here....might be better than my granny’s! Hands down THE best soul food I’ve had. I ordered online, so can’t speak too much on service, or the atmosphere. I ordered the turkey wings, collard greens, yams, and a side of Mac and cheese. When I tell you none of those items disappointed! The flavor was amazing in every dish that I tried, even down to the white rice. I will definitely order from here again, next time I might even dine in. 10 out of 10!!!!!

love the turkey wings and ribs! Mac and cheese always good in my books. Green beans are on and off on some days but overall loved it! One thing I would suggest is to please make an online website instead of using door dash lol they don’t have all the sides included up there! Thanks for the great experiences!

The best soul food restaurant in Norfolk hands down! I usually get the turkey wing dinner because I love me a good smothered turkey wings with mac and yams this time I tried something new the oxtails! They were so good I’m convinced everything they cook turns into gold! This is my favorite soul food spot and they are nice to add.

Very tasty! I had the curry chicken and it was savory and smokey. The collards are great and the cabbage was really good. Clean eating area and the staff was helpful, friendly, and kind. I highly recommend.

I did a take out order through door dash, food was so warm omg! So that was a huge plus for me my friend ordered the ribs she loved so we had to try it again when I came over. So good! She ordered smothered chicken! Highly recommend and my kids loved the yams

I got the turkey wings, Mac & cheese and green beans and let me tell you.....this was sooooo good! I’m just in town for a few days and we were looking for some soul food because we don’t like to eat at chain restaurants while traveling. Came across this place on google maps and decided to check it out. I would say it has more of a carry out feel than eat in with the family. But I will definitely be going back before we leave town.

I was running errands the other day and couldn't decide what I wanted for lunch. I stumbled upon Thee Soulfood Kitchen ordered their 3 wing lunch special along with slice of cake for under 15. Everything was cooked just right and full of flavor. I will definitely stop in again when I'm in the area
